How to Request Account Deletion

To request deletion of your Virtual Flea Markets account and associated data, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your account at www.virtualfleamarkets.com
  2. Navigate to Account Settings by tapping your profile icon in the top right corner
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete Account"
  4. Confirm the deletion when prompted

Alternatively, you can request account deletion by contacting us directly through our Contact Us page. Please include the email address associated with your account.

Data That Will Be Deleted

When your account is deleted, the following data will be permanently removed:

  • • Your account credentials (email, password, OAuth connections)
  • • Profile information (display name, profile picture, contact details)
  • • Wishlist entries and watchlist items
  • • Notification preferences and push notification subscriptions
  • • Active listings, drafts, and associated images
  • • Offers you have sent or received
  • • Discussion comments and messages
  • • Auction bids on active auctions

Data That May Be Retained

Certain data may be retained for a limited period or indefinitely for legal, safety, and operational reasons:

  • • Completed transaction records (sales history) — retained for legal and financial compliance
  • • Audit logs related to your account activity — retained for security purposes
  • • Anonymized, aggregated analytics data — retained indefinitely (not personally identifiable)

Retention Period

After you confirm deletion, your account will be deactivated immediately. All deletable data will be permanently removed within 30 days. During this period, your account cannot be recovered. Transaction records required for legal compliance may be retained for up to 7 years in accordance with applicable laws.
